Dear Friends,

 

The IDF Orphans Organization "Ha - Haim Kederech", was established for and by adult orphans of the IDF and security forces.

We dedicate all our energy and efforts to supporting the members of our community, who for years have not received adequate care or recognition from the authorities or bereavement organizations in Israel.

 

The organization was founded and is managed by adult IDF orphans, all on a voluntary basis, with the goal of creating real change in addressing the needs of adult orphans.

 

Alongside our extensive efforts for legislative and awareness changes (participation in Knesset committees, interviews in various media outlets, launching a publicity campaign for the recognition of adult IDF orphans), we also work significantly on behalf of the individuals in our community, including:

 

• Providing scholarships for advanced degrees and professional certification programs

 

• Group support meetings with professional facilitators, aimed at addressing challenges that arise from losing a parent at a young age and its impact on adulthood

 

• Holiday care packages for struggling IDF orphans who haven’t received proper help from the state since their father fell in battle

 

• Support for IDF orphans whose children are serving in combat units

 

• Community gatherings and conferences, where IDF orphans, members of the community of all ages, get to know each other, share, and draw strength to continue

 

• Helping IDF orphans who grew up without financial support to promote and 

       grow their businesses

 

• Our organization is dedicated to supporting IDF orphans in personal projects commemorating their fallen fathers, recognizing the profound importance of remembrance in the coping process and in preserving the legacy and personal history of the fallen.

 

• Engaging professionals in the field of legislation to improve the rights of IDF orphans who are not recognized or supported by the state after the age of 21.

 

 

Donations are needed to fund these efforts and ensure we can continue to advocate for their rights effectively.

 

 

As the Israel Defense Forces continue to defend our homeland, the responsibility of supporting those who have lost everything falls on all of us. In this war alone, over 600 new orphans have been added to the 13,000 who already bear the weight of losing a parent in service to our country. These children, like their fallen parents, are part of the heart and soul of the Israeli nation—symbols of the enduring strength of Am Israel.
